GEORGIA BELLE peaches are medium to large fruit with brilliant red flowering. They are very firm and highly flavored with white flesh, and a freestone pit. About 2/3 of the surface of its skin is covered with a bright, red blush over a yellow ground color. The flesh is yellow with a red center and red rays throughout the flesh. This peach is excellent for eating, fair for freezing and poor for canning. The fruit trees need a minimum of 6-8 hours sunlight daily, and need water. They are not drought tolerant. (Self-pollinating) (zones 5-8). Georgia Belle ripens early to mid-season. The tree is vigorous, hardy and productive.
