GOLDEN JUBILEE is a popular yellow freestone peach known for its ability to survive cold climates. It has medium size fruit, oblong, yellow freestone, and red at the pit. The fruit ripens from middle to late August. The flesh is tender, fine grained, juicy, and has an excellent quality. It is the best early peach and is excellent for canning and home use. The tree is productive, hardy, and needs a minimum of 6-8 hours sunlight daily. The trees are not drought tolerant and are self-pollinating.
